about the site
After playing through the Ace Attorney series, I felt inclined to make some sort of addition to my site collection with this fandom. It's well-written characters and interesting plot twists keep me at my seat. It's also just plain fun to point out contradictions, because you feel quite intelligent. I was first tempted to do Phoenix, but in terms of actually writing about him, I think it's a bit difficult (especially with his leap into Apollo Justice). I find Edgeworth more suitable to make a fansite for because his character development is a focal point in the plot. Plus, I have a nack for intelligent yet insecure men. Thus, this site was born.
The title originates from a mini-game in Resident Evil 4 featuring Ada Wong, an anti-hero who secretly helps Leon. I find this soothing for Edgeworth - obviously, it illustrates the different path he took from Phoenix in the beginning. But as his character changes, he also moves separately from the von Karmas and Gant to understand the true meaning of being an attorney.
You are currently viewing version 1.0 of the site. It features Miles' early sketches from youth to adulthood, as well as artwork from the cover of the official manga, "Turnabout Gallows". why edgeworth?
Edgeworth, at first, was not my favorite character. I never liked the stoic type of characters overhyped by fangirls... But Edgeworth really was different from most of them. His attitude is justified by his tragic backstory. Plus, he makes amazing comments that are awesome and amusing. Most importantly, I loved how his character developed over the entire three games. He's possible one of the most developed in the series, next to Phoenix that is. The notion of childhood friends also drives me nuts, because I have a fondness for platonic relationship~
